We wish you a Merry Christmas!

Well, Merry Christmas everybody from all of us here at Swanage Lifeboat. Thanks for all of your support over the last year. Thanks for coming to read this, for letting us have your comments and for all of the kind messages you have sent. Spare a thought though for those crew at Poole, Fowey and Amble who have all launched within the last 24 hours. Lets hope that they are now safely tucked up in their homes enjoying some Christmas cheer.

I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men.

(Henry W Longfellow)
