He ain't heavy - He's your brother

We are a close bunch as a crew. It's hard to know if this is normal, but for us it is and we like it this way. Becky graduated this weekend so Jo, Tom and Matt baked her a cake to help her celebrate. Oli and Jo went for a bike ride together. Nick helped me dig over my vegetable patch. Jo then came to ours for dinner. Most of the crew went out on Saturday night. All very sociable. And we like it like this. I also think it helps us to be an effective crew, more understanding of each others strengths and weaknesses. Heartwarming stuff hey?!

The usual 10 o'clock Monday page has just arrived. ILB helm this week is Steve. There is a dry exercise this week on Wednesday in the boathouse. The ILB should go to sea but the ALB will be ashore and I will be doing some shore based training with crew. The plan for this is to run through the COLREGS, lights/sounds/signals and keeping a watch. Fun stuff!?

So on we go
His welfare is my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there
For I know
He would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

Actually I think that you'll find that Tom is quite heavy!

If that's Tom in the picture, I don't care how heavy he is. He's cute!!!

Consider his slack cut!

Tom is delighted to know there is someone out there who finds him attractive. I personally hadn't realised that women's taste in men had altered so dramatically!

But seriously.......I must warn you, he may look cute, but he is a fisherman and therefor tends to smell like a wet kipper on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Enjoy your day!

Why are you assuming that MK is a woman?!?

Good point.......sadly (from the comic perspective) I know that mk is indeed a most charming American of the female (although quite clearly deranged and possibly short of sight) pursuasion!

It's safe to say that Lifebook Scrapbook is no "match.com", eh?
Well he may smell like sardines but it's pretty easy for a girl an ocean away to think romantic of a Brit with moppy hair who works on the seas. Either that or your camera has magic powers. Call me hopeless, but I'm usually cold and bitter so consider it a rare event that I'm even speaking so stupidly. (But hey-- I'm American, I have an excuse for stupidity.)
