Speechless

It's almost unbelievable but last night Poole lifeboat station was broken into and ransacked by thieves. It's not certain at this point what was taken but what is certain is that many of the Poole crew have had a busy day sorting out their kit and trying to restore the place to some sort of order. Let's hope they catch the culprit(s) and find a way of re-briefing them about how decent members of a society should behave. In the meantime our thoughts are with the lads and lasses in Poole.

Grrrrr! If they are caught, then the traditional punnishment for piracy should apply. That they be staked out at the low tide mark and have three tides wash over them.

I know, I'm probably being too lenient.

OMG I can't believe that but then there are some low-life around aren't there? Yes Spot The Gerbil I think you are being too lenient....John, you've got a cracking site here. Had a longer visit time hope you get other Lifeboat bloggers sending you stuff. Just one thing Ramsey is spelled with an e not an a. I have got loads more piccies so I'll sift through some and send you some action shots...Noticed the photo of the injured person...was this Sonia's doing. We did our first aid update a few months back and had a great time learning thee make up making it that more authentic. Keep up the great work....Pete

Once they catch the culprits, could they be taught underwater water skiing?

Hanged at the dock end like pirates of old, left for several tides to wash over them then buried at the low water mark for the ragworms to finish off. And I'm in a good mood today.

Gerbil, you beat me to it. OK. Dumped in a tank of hungry hagfish.

All of your suggestions reveal you for the generous and forgiving people that you are!

Peter, I spent the afternoon yesterday down in the bay with kids fossil hunting. Very pleasant!

Find anything good? We've got a section of (I think) marine reptile spine going through the experts at the Natural History Museum and I am going to dig away the whole of Ketleness if necessary - can't have the south west having the world plesiosaur record!
