I had the pleasure of knowing all three men and on occasions used to help Fred Crutchfield when he was Station Mechanic. Swo glad to see that the portraits will hang in the boathouse.
ReplyDeleteI too knew all three men, I wasn't best pleased when they left the Ship and went to the Mowlem because my Grandfather (Jim Hardy) didn't like Badger Beer. I Assume he'll be even less pleased with the bone dry old boathouse :-)
